I see that LifeLink is offering a new product, PrimAGE, which is their tradename for pyridoxamine. On the Internet I’ve seen a lot of promotional hype about pyridoxamine as a treatment for diabetic symptoms. But pyridoxamine is just a form of vitamin B6 — are we really to believe that a mere vitamin can have much impact on a serious disease like diabetes? If so, why didn’t we know about this a long time ago?

Alzheimer’s Disease runs in my family. My father, mother, and my mother’s sister all died from it, and now one of my own sisters has developed symptoms. I’ve been told that curcumin supplements may have a preventative effect. Is this true?

I’ve been using DHEA for at least 6 years, and I like the way it makes me feel. But I’ve read that the U.S. government is planning to criminalize the possession of DHEA as part of its War On Drugs. They claim that DHEA has no medical value and is dangerous. Is this true? Or is it just another government lie? I see no reason why I should be considered a criminal for trying to improve my mental and physical health.

Breast cancer runs in my family, so I’m looking for preventatives. I notice that LifeLink sells indole-3-carbinol (I3C) — an anti-cancer nutritional supplement. The Oregon State University website has an interesting page about it, but their pro-and-con discussion leaves me unsure whether to include I3C in my anti-cancer regimen. What is your opinion?
