About Mild Silver Protein
Mild Silver Protein is a colloidal suspension of metallic silver particles in a liquid or gel. The silver particles are extremely
small (nanometer range) and are associated with dissolved protein molecules that prevent the silver from settling out.
Until recently most silver bacteriocides were made with ionic silver rather than metallic silver, sometimes causing ‘argyria’
— the deposition of silver in bodily tissues. The risk of argyria is greatly reduced when metallic silver is used, and virtually
eliminated when it is applied topically.
Mild Silver Protein gel (SilviGel) is usually applied directly to cuts, wounds, scrapes, burns, moles, warts, sores, eczema,
seborrhea, psoriasis, shingles, acne, insect bites, rashes, poison oak, poison ivy, and fungus.
Mild Silver Protein liquid (Silvicidal®) is used as an immune system booster.
