Carnitine supplements fight fat
A study published in November 2002 has finally proved that L-Carnitine supplementation results in faster metabolism of fat
in normal healthy individuals. L-Carnitine has been marketed for years as a weight-loss supplement, based on its known ability
to normalize fat metabolism in people with carnitine deficiency, and its ability to cause fat loss in obese animals. But the
lack of a definitive human study has permitted various skeptics and anti-supplement propagandists to claim that it is useless
as a human dietary supplement. Now they must eat their words.
