Government report supports SAM-e for arthritis and depression

A branch of the Dept. of Health and Human Services has issued a report on the supplement SAM-e (S-adenosyl-L-methionine), saying that it appears to be beneficial as a treatment for osteoarthritis, for depression, and for liver disease. The report is based on a review of various clinical studies, not on any new research.
